Infinity Gym is a residential gym in an urban context. The client wanted a place to train in a relatively small room on the roof of the building.

Infinity gym is a project that gives the user the impression to be lost in time and space. We used mirrors on each side of the space to make it look infinite, and colour therapy to allow the user to experience an enchanted space.

The lighting does more than make the space look ‘trendy’, however, it is argued that ‘light travels through neurological pathways and affects the pineal gland in the brain’…Green has a healing effect and boosts satisfaction, which (apparently) can make your workouts more enjoyable. Red can invigorate you, adding zest to keep-fit session, blue can actually increase productivity; research shows weightlifters can lift more in blue rooms.
